Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the RatingPath website and services. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

RatingPath provides a QR code-based review system for local businesses. We ship a physical QR code stand to your business location. When customers scan the code, they are directed to leave a Google review. Customers who rate their experience below 5 stars are given the option to submit private feedback directly to the business owner.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

RatingPath is a subscription service. Billing occurs on a recurring basis according to the plan you select at checkout. All fees are charged in advance for the upcoming billing period. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of the period you have already paid for. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to incentivize, solicit, or manipulate reviews in violation of Google's review policies
• Misrepresent your identity or business information
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

7. Google Review Compliance

RatingPath is designed to comply with Google's review policies. We do not block, filter, or suppress negative reviews. All customers are given the opportunity to share their experience. We do not offer incentives for reviews. You agree to use the service in accordance with Google's terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology associated with RatingPath are owned by RatingPath. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission. The RatingPath name and logo are trademarks of RatingPath.

9. Limitation of Liability

RatingPath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific results, including the number or quality of reviews your business will receive. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RatingPath shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
